Wingtra is the producer of the WingtraOne, the first commercially successful vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) drone. WingtraOne is used by geospatial and industry professionals around the world to conduct surveys with unprecedented accuracy. WingtraOne takes-off and lands as a multicopter but flies in the air as a fixed wing aircraft. VTOL eliminates the risk of damaging the aircraft while landing and lets the drone carry heavier and thus better sensors (e.g. 40MP Sony RX1RII). Thanks to this technology, this mapping drone allows surveys up to 80% faster than with land-based equipment or multirotor drones.
